CLM Polymerase
Market-leading performance with minimized PCR bias
Overview
Minimize PCR Bias with CLM Polymerase
In NGS library preparation, the choice of polymerase is critical for achieving uniform coverage and reliable yields. CLM Polymerase is engineered to minimize PCR bias and deliver high-fidelity amplification, even from challenging samples. Supplied with all necessary PCR components, it provides researchers with a convenient and dependable solution for generating accurate, reproducible results.

Uniform Amplification across
high and low-GC regions
CLM Polymerase delivers uniform amplification across both high- and low-GC regions, minimizing coverage bias even in extreme GC content genomes. Enabled by Celemics’ advanced enzyme technology, it maintains stable sequencing depth in >90% GC regions(highlighted with a light green dotted circle) where competitor products show a sharp decline. This ensures reliable amplification and consistent data quality across challenging genomic regions.
Amplification of high-GC and low-GC regions using CLM Polymerase.
The amplification capacity was tested using bacterial samples with known GC contents. The results show that CLM Polymerase allows steady and uniform amplification without PCR bias for both high-GC and low-GC regions.
* For GC-ratio analysis, the genomic DNA sequence was partitioned into contiguous 200 bp fragments. The GC content of each fragment was computed, and the resulting values were aggregated into a histogram with 2% interval bins. The green, red, and purple lines represent the normalized sequencing depth across different GC-ratio regions.
Low Error Rate with minimized
indels and substitutions
With optimized reaction conditions, CLM Polymerase achieves a remarkably low total error rate of 0.109%, including substitutions and indels. This ensures superior reliability compared to competitors and guarantees stable quality for downstream analyses.
Calculated PCR error rate for CLM Polymerase and other competitor products
CLM Polymerase shows the lowest overall PCR error rate (0.109%)
compared to competitor enzymes, minimizing substitutions and indels.
| Polymerase | Sub_ratio | Indel_ratio | Err_ratio |
|---|---|---|---|
| Celemics | 0.068% | 0.041% | 0.109% |
| Company K | 0.068% | 0.048% | 0.116% |
| Taq | 0.112% | 0.040% | 0.153% |
Reliable amplification
from low DNA amount
CLM Polymerase delivers reliable amplification across different DNA amounts, from as little as 1 ng to 100 ng. It consistently achieves higher yields than competitor enzymes, providing flexibility for experiments with varying sample availability.
Reliable amplification from low-amount DNA
A. With 1 ng of DNA, CLM Polymerase achieved an average yield of 1,997 ng after 14 PCR cycles, the highest among competitor enzymes.
B. At 100 ng of DNA, CLM Polymerase maintained the highest average yield of 1,918 ng, demonstrating robust amplification efficiency.
